BBC News interview with Dr. Jørn S. Jørgensen on laser eye surgery for myopia

In an interview with BBC News, on the occasion of the opening of our London clinic “LEC London”, Dr. med. Jørn S. Jørgensen (founder, CEO and head of the EuroEyes clinic group) explains why eye laser surgery is booming worldwide. He also explains why there are more and more short-sighted people and how you can do something good for your eyes. According to the American Association for Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, more than 4.7 billion people will be affected by myopia (nearsightedness) by 2050. Fortunately, thanks to eye lasers, there is a modern, safe and painless way to get rid of glasses.
