DR. MED. MARKUS BAUER
Dr. Markus Bauer has served as Medical Director of the EuroEyes Laser Eye Center Munich since 1997. He has carried out more than 12,000 refractive surgeries here already, and is one of the most experienced surgeons in Germany.

In 2004 Hr. Dr. Bauer was one of the first eye surgeons to introduce the Femto LASIK Technology. Due to his extensive experience, he is a consultant of the Commission for Refractive Surgery in Germany for the training of ophthalmologists in refractive surgery. Dr. med. Bauer is one of the first refractive surgeons to be certified after LASIK TÜV. He is also a speaker at conferences of the German Ophthalmic Surgeons and the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. The process of collagen cross-linking in the treatment of keratoconus was performed and established by him in 2006 – the first time in Munich.
