From this season on EuroEyes is official IRONMAN Eye and Vision Partner.

With over 25 years of experience, EuroEyes has succeeded in introducing innovations to the world of refractive eye surgery. EuroEyes’ goal is to understand the needs of athletes and to eliminate disturbing refractive errors. Therefore, EuroEyes is particularly proud to announce that the clinic group will be an official Eye and Vision Partner of IRONMAN Europe and Scandinavia from 2019.

What was the inspiration for the new partnership with IRONMAN?
I’ve always loved IRONMAN, especially in cities like Hamburg and Frankfurt the events are a highlight. Optimal vision, whether swimming, cycling or running, is very important. We want to show that sport without disturbing aids such as glasses or contact lenses is a relief. Therefore, we support IRONMAN as an official Eyes and Vision Partner.
Partners in Germany and Scandinavia – how did it come about?
EuroEyes is represented in Germany as well as in Denmark with over 20 eye clinics. So, it only makes sense to support IRONMAN in Germany and Scandinavia. The idea came from our title sponsoring of EuroEyes Cyclassics in Hamburg. Numerous participants from Scandinavia come to the bicycle race every year – a connection of the athletes in Germany and Scandinavia, which we would like to expand and strengthen with the new partnership.

Expansion to China will follow in 2011. EuroEyes was the first German clinic group to open a clinic location in Shanghai. Laser eye centers in Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen followed.
